Terms of Service

Last updated: June 6, 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of Simpentory, the inventory management service operated by Mosier Data LLC. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Simpentory is a web-based inventory management tool for small and mid-size businesses. It lets you track stock across zones, manage vendors and purchase orders, and give your team role-based access to your inventory data.

The service is offered on a month-to-month subscription at $59 per storefront per month. A storefront is one independent operation or account scope within Simpentory. Adding more storefronts to your account adds $59/month per storefront.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. This includes:

  • Keeping your password secure and not sharing login credentials.
  • Any actions taken by team members you invite to your account.
  • Making sure your account information (name, email, billing details) stays accurate.
  • Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access at [email protected].

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use Simpentory.

Acceptable use

You may use Simpentory for any lawful business purpose. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain access to another customer's data or accounts.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate requests against the service in ways that damage performance for other users.
  • Use the service to store, transmit, or process content that is illegal or that violates the rights of others.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you before doing so unless immediate action is required to protect the service or other customers.

Payment terms

  • Billing cycle Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you first subscribe. Payment is charged automatically to the card on file via Stripe.
  • Adding storefronts When you add a storefront mid-cycle, the charge is pro-rated for the remaining days in that billing period.
  • Cancellation You can cancel any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period. We do not issue partial refunds for the remaining time in a period.
  • Failed payments If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you by email. Accounts with an outstanding balance may be suspended until the balance is resolved.
  • Price changes We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the subscription price. Continued use of the service after the notice period counts as acceptance of the new price.

Your data

Your inventory data, vendor records, purchase orders, and other content you create in Simpentory belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over it.

You can export your data at any time. After you cancel your account, we retain your data for 30 days in case you want to reactivate or export it. After that, it is permanently deleted.

By using the service you grant us permission to store, back up, and process your data for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your data to train machine learning models or share it with third parties outside the scope described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep Simpentory available and running well. We do planned maintenance during off-peak hours when possible and will post advance notice for longer windows.

We do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided as-is, without a formal uptime SLA at the current pricing tier.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simpentory and Mosier Data LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limits on implied warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
